Deluxe

PINGODA GEDERA

The name denotes the ancestral home of Hettigoda Group Chairman's Father and Grandfather. The walls, both interior and exterior as well as the floor, are entirely made of mole-hill clay impregnated with the juice of crushed leaves of Margosa (Azadirachtaindica) Kumbuk (Terminalia arjvna) Kurundu (Cinnamonium Zeylanicum) and Domba. This symbolises the hygenic constructional methods that were adopted during the ancient times to ensure a close liaison with nature. This Deluxe Chalet gives a direct view of the Indian Ocean.

GAL LENA

This Chalet is a replica of a Stone Cave which symbolizes the living abode of the Yogis and Rishis who lived many Centuries ago. This is a 'King Deluxe' Chalet giving a direct Oceanic view.

SEMANALA SEVANA

Both internal as well as external walls of this Chalet are made out of a very special type of natural bricks, effectively portraying the natural beauty of the elegant butterfly. The flooring of the Chalet is of Terra-Cotta Tiles.

BALAKOTUWA

Chalet representing the pattern of an ancient Dutch House in a Dutch Fortress with broad walls, portraying the structural pattern of the Dutch. The flooring of this 'King Deluxe' Chalet is of Terra-Cotta tiles.

KOON SEVANA

Timber of the Kong tree has been utilized to panel this Deluxe Chalet, since this type of timber has theraputic effects of balancing the Three Doshas, Vatha (Air), Pitha (Fire & Water) and Kapha (Water & Earth). A Deluxe Chalet - the flooring of which is of medicinal tree Kumbuk to provide a promotional factor for good health.

INDIGODAWATTE GEDARA

The name denotes the ancestral home of Hettigoda Group Chairman's Mother and Grandmother. Mole-hill clay impregnated with the juice of crushed leaves of Nika (Vitex nwegundo), Amba (Magnifera indica), Esala (Cassia fistula) and Bo tree has been used in the construction of both, interior and exterior walls as well as the floor of this Chalet enabling to exfoliate the entire body and thereby maintain the balance of the body's Three Doshas - Vata, Pitha & Kapha
This too is a 'King Deluxe" Chalet having a direct view of the Ocean.

WALAWWA

This Chalet is of 3 floors, representing the composite palatial house of an aristocratic Nobleman of ancient Sri Lanka. It consists of six rooms with Terra-Cotta flooring, having the special facility (free of any charge) for the comfortable accommodation of an additional person. The 2nd Floor Balcony of this Chalet provides a direct view of the Ocean as well as the Swimming Pool.

CHANDRA VASA

The spot where the enchanting moon-light bathes the area. The soothing rays of the moon are believed to promote longevity of human life.
The walls of this 'King Deluxe' Chalet are of Kabook, while the flooring is out of wood. It has a direct view of the Sea.

ATH DEMATA SEVANA

The Ath Demata plant (Gealina arbosea) grows in Sri Lanka & the Himalayan foot - hills in India. It's a medium sized tree. It's component parts, the roots & the bark are being used in the preparation of Ayurveda medicine. The floor is panelled with timber of this tree and direct contact of it with bare feet enhances and strengthens the bones of the human body.

Superior

THUN MAHAL PRASADYA

 Three Storeyed Super Luxury Villa of the Resort with Terra-Cotta tiled flooring. Provides a panaromic view of the Resort as well as the surrounding areas from the Balcony of its 2nd Floor. This is an ideal Home for a family gathering & family friends, for a magnificient get-to-gether.

NIMBA SEVASA

2 Storeyed Chalet giving a direct view of the Swimming Pool.
The First Floor has been panelled with timber of the medicinal plant of Margosa (Neem). Treading on it with bare feet promotes removal of harmful toxic substances from the human system, giving a soothing effect to the body.

GAMMALU SEVANA

consisting of 2 Storeys. The ground-floor of this Chalet is laid with Terra-Cotta flooring while the upper floor has been panelled with Gam-Malu timber. This is a tree that grows in dense jungles to a girth of about two to three feet, yeilding a blood-red colour gum. Its cream is a cure for Diabetes
This Chalet provides a direct view of the Swimming Pool.

PIHIMBIYA SEVANA

2 Storey Chalet, the upper floor of which is laid out of of the timber of the Pihimbiya tree, grown in front gardens of most Sri Lankan homes since the tree is believed to usher good fortune to its occupants. The ground floor of the Chalet is laid with Terra-Cotta flooring.

DOMBA SEVANA

This Chalet too, consists of 2 storeys. The flooring of the ground floor is of Terra-Cotta flooring while the upper floor is panelled with the timber of the medicinal plant Domba, which is said to correct the ill effects of Vatha (Wind).
The Chalet gives a direct view of the Swimming Pool.

MAYURA VILLA

A storeyed four roomed house of the Resort. Provides a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean and woodland & meadow of the neighbourhood. The flooring of the rooms are of Terra-Cotta flooring.
